To officiate hockey games within the BC Ball Hockey Association, you must become a certified official.

To obtain certification you must be at minimum two years older then the division officiating and be able to attend an BC Ball Hockey Association clinic. Every year, this must be repeated.

The BCBHA clinics are designed to optimize the instructional experience in an informative and enjoyable manner, taking into consideration an official's experience and current BCBHA level.

Referee Clinics for Adults & Youth

Cost of the Referee clinic for Adults 18+ is $55.00. and Youth is $45.00. Participants receive a CBHA Rulebook/Casebook and Year Helmet Sticker..

The Referee clinic for Adults & Youth involves a one day 8 hour classroom sessions. Participants must complete all components of this clinic to receive certification. Participants should bring a pen and paper to the clinic.
